We have received loads of terrific auction items from our generous donors. There will be some hometown favorites, such as Tom Delgado’s famous homemade tamales, an aromatherapy basket from Two Sisters’ Oil, and so much more!
Participation in this event is totally free, but you must create an account prior to the auction to be able to bid. When you are ready, you can access the Healing Hearts Virtual Auction and start placing bids on February 21st.

Why We Need Your Support

Mental health needs have skyrocketed since the start of the pandemic. At the same time, Pennock Center has been significantly impacted economically. We need your support more than ever! So many individuals and families are finding it difficult to navigate this new normal. Over 50% of our clients pay according to our sliding fee scale and the fees of 20% of clients are either reduced or waived due to financial hardship. The quality, affordable counseling and educational programs we provide are vital to the health of our community. Your generous donations make a huge impact on people’s lives. Your donations save lives.

Our auction goal this year is $30,000, however, we take donations all year round! We accept one-time donations, or you can set up recurring donations through our Compassion Circle giving club. There is no amount too small to make a difference and all donations are tax deductible. Please consider joining us in the fight for affordable, life saving mental health care!

Healing Hearts Award

image of Dr. Warren T. JohnsonThis year, we are pleased to announce Dr. Warren T. Johnson as our 2022 Healing Hearts Award recipient. The Healing Hearts Award is a way of recognizing an individual or organization who shows a commitment to improving mental health awareness, works to reduce its stigma, connects those in need of services, and creates or supports programs to address mental health needs in our community.

Dr. Johnson has practiced family medicine in Brighton for over 34 years. His agency, Owl Creek Medical, has served the citizens of our community for over 20 years. Dr. Johnson has made lifelong, supportive relationships with his patients and colleagues.

Dr. Johnson was chosen for this award because of his attention to the mental health of his patients and his holistic approach to their treatment. Patients feel heard and cared about by Dr. Johnson as they share their concerns, and in this sharing, the stigma that often goes along with mental health problems is reduced.

Thank you, Dr. Johnson, for all you’ve done for the Brighton community. The world is a better place because you’re in it.
